Dr. Bazzan is originally from Verona and graduated from medical school in Padua, Italy. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Integrative and Holistic Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition. He is the Director of the Functional & Wellness Sciences Institute, PC in Jeffersonville, Pennsylvania. He is an attending physician at the Jefferson Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine, Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is an Associate Clinical Member at the Jefferson Kimmel Cancer Center.

Dr. Bazzan is the recipient of the, "Tree of Life Award" and a Congratulation Citation from the Pennsylvania Senate given for outstanding service to the community. He is the coauthor of "The Great Life Makeover" a Harper Collins book written to ameliorate the health of the public at the time of middle age.

Dr. Bazzan’s lifelong love of music and the piano in particular, brought him eventually to become a student of Professor Maria del Pico Taylor, something he describes as a blessing and a miracle.
